Last year, the Maine legislature passed LD 556 which guaranteed your freedom to choose the best energy source for your home. It prevents municipalities from prohibiting any safe, accessible energy source and protects residents from legislation that we've seen in other states that would restrict your energy choice. There has been some discussion about overturning this piece of legislation. We can't let that happen.
